The art installation in situ at Glasgow Science Centre. Three paintings are shown on display stands depicting the changing Arctic

Arctic Changes

The Arctic is changing rapidly in terms of its climate, environment and the ways in which humans live and interact with nature.

Warming and sea ice loss are altering habitats and food supply for animals, which must adapt to survive. Traditional ways of life for human communities are also under pressure and require enhanced safeguards to sustain future generations.

This triptych painting contributes to the wave of collaborations among scientists and artists, sharing in a desire to reach broad audiences and open up conversations surrounding the impacts of climate change.

Find the art installation in the Our World, Our Impact gallery on the second floor of Glasgow Science Centre.
